Pathu Thala director’s next with Vijay Devarakonda

In a recent interaction with the media, Director Krishna, whose recent blockbuster ‘Pathu Thala’ joined the coveted 100cr club, humbly shared his thoughts on the achievement. Overflowing with gratitude, he said, “I owe the entire credit of this success to God, my family, our dedicated cast and crew, our producer, and most importantly, our audience. Without the undying support of the Tamil audience, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”

His words exuded humility and dedication toward his craft and a deep appreciation for those who have been instrumental in his journey so far. Yet, Krishna is not resting on his laurels. Instead, he has set his sights higher, looking to take Indian cinema to the global stage

“I aim to continue making impactful films,” he declared. “My goal for our upcoming projects is to reach the international club. I hope to bring an Oscar to our country and dedicate it to ‘Kalama talli’, as a token of my deep gratitude.”

Krishna also took a moment to acknowledge and congratulate the team behind ‘RRR’, who recently brought home the prestigious Oscar. “They have not only made our country proud, but they have also paved the way for directors like me in India,” he stated. “They’ve provided a roadmap for Indian films to aspire towards Oscar glory.”

The director sees this as the dawn of a new era for Indian cinema, where films from the subcontinent can compete and excel on a global scale. His confidence and ambition are palpable, and with ‘Pathu Thala’ as a testament to his talent, it’s clear that he is poised for even greater success.
