Megastar to compete with Rajinikanth this time

It was earlier announced that Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Bhola Shankar had locked it’s release date on August 11th 2023. Apart from this big budget venture, many of the low, medium and high budget films will be competing from Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages which affects the performance of local films on box office.

Siddhu jonnalagadda’s DJ Tillu sequel, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal and Sivakarthikeyan’s Mahaveerudu are releasing on the same date while Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer is getting ready to be released on August 10th, a day prior to Bhola Shankar. Initially, Jailer was planned for this summer release, but the film got postponed due to delay in the shoot.

There is no doubt that Rajiniknath is India’s biggest Superstar but all his recent outings affected him badly in the Telugu market. All the movie lovers are eager to watch his comeback with a strong content. on the other hand, DJ Tillu turned an unexpected blockbuster and the sequel too has high expectations. Animal on the flipside is expected to perform well and we have to see the fate of Sivakarthikeyan’s Mahaveerudu at that time.

However competition is now a new thing in the Telugu Film Industry and in the recent past Megastar scored a blockbuster in the form of Waltair Veerayya. So even Chiru had to face Rajinikanth he can still make his film a superhit if he come up with a good content and word of mouth for his remake film.
