Vetrimaran delivered his latest outing Viduthalai-1 which stars Vijay Sethupathi and Soori in the lead roles.The movie had it’s release on March 31st 2023 and was a money spinner at the box office.
The dubbed version of the movie was planned for release in Telugu as ‘Vidudhala’ and the movie is expected to release in theatres on 15th April 2023. Mega producer Allu Aravind acquired the rights of the film and is releasing the film across the Telugu states under his Geetha Arts banner.
During the press meet held in Hyderabad, Vetrimaaran revealed some exciting information to the Telugu audience. when asked about making a film with Jr NTR, he said that he met NTR last year and the movie is expected but on a later date as the duo had bunch of commitments lined up and said that an announcement would be made at the right time.
He also revealed that he met Maheshbabu and Allu Arjun around the same time in Chennai. Vetrimaaran had initially planned to cast Allu Arjun in Vada Chennai, but things did not work out well at that time.
He indirectly revealed that he will be making is Telugu debut in the coming days, but did not reveal much about the cast or project details.
