Gunasekhar’s periodic drama Shakuntalam is all set for release on April 14, 2023. This project is slated for release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
As per the latest information, the Shaakuntalam team started the promotions by visiting the Peddamma Thalli Temple in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad on 15th March 2023.

‘Shaakuntalam’ is the re-telling of the Indian epic lover story which follows Shakuntala, the daughter of Menaka and Viswamithra, falling for King Dushyant.
Malayalam Hero Dev mohan is making his Tollywood debut with the forgotten epic love story. The movie is banked by Neelima Guna under her banner Guna Team works.
The other cast includes Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Gauthami, Sachin Khedekar, Ananya Nagalla and Kabir Singh Dulhania in key roles. The music of the film is scored by melody brahma Manisharma.
