‘Rana Naidu’ is the maiden collaboration of Rana with his uncle Daggubati Venkatesh, who is a seasoned actor in the Telugu Film industry.
The series had many expectations since the announcement and finally, the series has been released.
The web series which premiered on Netflix from March 10, 2023 turned out to be a debacle. Known to be a family actor, Venkatesh chose the wrong path by signing this project.
His Bollywood debut Taqdeerwala released in mid 90’s , a remake of renowned Telugu film Yamaleela also turned out to be a debacle.
It seems like they made this series only for the sake of Hindi audience, by casting popular Telugu actors but the Telugu dubbing was horrible. It would have been better if they have shot the series only in Hindi.
His Bollywood debut with Taqdeerwala and Web series debut with Rana Naidu both failed at the box office. It’s better for the veteran actor to stay away from Bollywood as he couldn’t see his best in those projects.
