No stopping remakes for Chiru!

The pre-release event of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film, Bholaa Shankar, took place in Hyderabad last night, where a lot of things were said and done. As part of the event, Chiranjeevi said a lot of things, one of which was a statement regarding remakes, where he clearly indicated that he wouldn’t stop doing remakes.

He said that Bholaa Shankar is a remake of the Tamil film Vedhalam, and that they chose to do this film because it is not available on any OTT platform, and given that it has great content, they decided that this was a good film to do. He said that while the exposure of other language films has increased because of OTT platforms, there’s still nothing wrong in doing remakes, clearly stating that he’s not going to stop doing remakes anytime soon.

While he may be satisfied with his statements and decisions, this might affect negatively on his films and the producers of those films, because audeinces seem to be saturated with the remake content that they are being presented with, already.
