Millions of Indians who waited eagerly for the big day has finally come today. A song Naatu Naatu from RRR-Roudram Ranam Rudhiram shook the entire world has just won the Oscar for 95th Academy Awards in the Best Original Song category.
It is for an Indian Telugu film RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli with Jr NTR and Ram Charan as the lead actors.
Janelle Monae and Kate Hudson announced the award for ‘Naatu Naatu’, composed by MM Keeravaani and sung by Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj, has bagged the prestigious Academy Award.
With this, Naatu Naatu becomes the first Indian song and also the first Tollywood film that had won an Oscar.
Keeravaani and lyricist Chandrabose received the award and in his winning speech, MM Keeravaani has thanked the captain of the ship SS Rajamouli, Karthikeya and the one who made the song a global hit.
