Krithi Shetty made her tollywood debut with ‘Uppena’, and bagged a blockbuster with her first film. After that the actress has received a hat-trick with ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ and ‘Bangaraju’.
The actress who was paid rs 6 lakh for the first film, demanded rs 60 lakh for the second film. After hat-trick hits, krithi shetty hiked her remuneration to rs 1 crore for next projects.
Shetty’s one crore plus demanded films include macherla niyojakavargam, The Warrior and Aa ammayi gurinchi meeku cheppali ,all of which failed miserably at the box office and the demand for krithi shetty has come down.
At the same time, Sri Leela scored back-to-back blockbusters and has become the priority for most of the directors and producers.
This made the actress alert and made her slash the salary for future projects. Krithi Shetty is pairing up with Sharwanand for a film directed by Sriram Aditya. The movie is produced by People Media Factory.
According to reports, Krithi Shetty has cut down her pay-cheque to Rs 60 lakhs for the film which is almost half of her previous remuneration.
