Akhanda helmed by Boyapati Srinu, proved to be the second highest grossing film of the Telugu film industry in 2021 with Balakrishna delivering a true-blue blockbuster.
Ever since the film’s release, there has been rumors about it’s sequel and now, we have exclusively learnt that Akhanda-2 is definitely in the making.
In a recent interview, the makers have confirmed that the sequel once the actor and director finishes their current commitments.
Sources say that the film will be officially launched on 10 June, 2023 which marks the birthday of Balayya. The makers are yet to give an official confirmation on this update.
On the other hand, Boyapati Srinu is currently busy with Ram Pothineni’s mass entertainer. Even Balakrishna is also occupied with Ani Ravipudi’s film.
Once both the actor and director finishes their current project, Akhanda 2 will go on floors. S. Thaman who gave blockbuster music for Akhanda, will be composing the music for the sequel and Miryala Ravinder Reddy will be producing the film.
