Recently Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the annual contract for players. The fee for contract for Grade A is hiked from Rs1 crore to Rs 2 crore. Grade B and C has been given Rs 1 crore and Rs 50 lakh respectively. But looks like this restructured annual retainer fee has not gone well with Virat Kohli. The unhappy skipper has demanded a minimum fee of Rs 5 crore for Grade A, Rs 3 crore for Grade B and Rs1.5 crore for Grade C.
It is said that the issue would be taken up by the CoA in the next BCCI meeting.
