UoH lifted suspension of four scholars

After stern criticism from across the nation, the executive council of the University of Hyderabad has decided to revoke the suspension of four students. The UoH press release said that the suspension of Prasanth, Sunkanna, Seshanna and Vijay, all members of Ambedkar Students Association, has been lifted. These four students and Rohit Vemula, who recently ended his life, were suspended in connection with the attack on ABVP activist Susheel.

They have been staging a protest for the past fortnight demanding revocation of suspension.However, the suspended students have said that they were yet to receive any communication about the revocation of suspension. The agitating students said their agitation would continue till justice was done to Rohit Vemula.
