Indian women who married a Pak man seeks High Commission help in Islamabad

The Indian High Commission in Islamabad was accused by a Pakistani man named Tahir of detaining his newly-wed Indian wife after they went there to apply for his visa.

As per sources in the Ministry of External Affairs, it appears that that the woman named Uzma asked for help from the high commission and is now being given consular assistance.

Tahir claims he and Uzma visited the High Commission building to submit their visa forms. However, Uzma went inside on being called by officials and never came back as per Pakistani media reports.
