44 killed in a bus accident in Shimla

On Wednesday a private bus with 50 passengers fell into Tons river, Shimla in Himachal Pradesh. According to reports it is said that 44 people died. After the incident Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat announced Rs1 lakh compensation to the family members of accident victims and also announced Rs 50000 for people who are seriously injured.

According to reports, a young thirteen year-old child and the conductor of the bus jumped seconds before the vehicle fell into the river.
